Knight Digital Media Center is hosting top editors from a dozen US papers for its annual
news leadership conference. Veteran journalist and KDMC blogger

Here are a couple of highlights from the conference agenda (all times are Pacific):
- Tuesday, 7-9 pm: Keynote: Seven Deadly Myths of Innovation, by Krisztina "Z" Holly, USC Stevens Institute for Innovation.
- Wednesday, 8:30-10 am: Understanding the Economics of Digital News and Information, with Jay Hamilton (Duke Univ.), and former Tidbits contributors Vin Crosbie (Digital Deliverance) and Steve Yelvington (Morris DigitalWorks)
- Wednesday, 3:45-5:30 pm: Role of Social Media, Social Networks in News Organizations, with Mary Lou Fulton (Bakersfield Californian) and Tidbits contributor Rich Gordon (Medill School of Journalism).
