Rick Daniels, who has been with the Globe for 23 years, tells colleagues: "For those who want to know what I'll be doing: I expect to teach in a business school (on a part-time basis, at least at first), I expect to work for a couple charitable organizations that are of great importance to my family, I expect to enjoy a little extra time with said family, and yes, I expect (in little while) to look for full-time employment - looking especially hard at the media."
