Nicholas Kristof's Sunday NYT column about reader Marguerite H.'s too-much-Darfur complaint. "Basically, some readers thought I was mean, arrogant, mean, sanctimonious, mean, self-aggrandizing and, well, mean," writes Kristof. "I'm sorry, Marguerite. I didn’t mean to pick on you."
