Ron Brownstein (left) will write a weekly op-ed column, longer pieces for the paper's weekend Current section and be a regular contributor to latimes.com. Brownstein has been with the Times since 1989 and his weekly "Washington Outlook" column analyzing national politics and government "has been one of the paper's most consistent must-reads since 1994," says a release.
