After months of discussion, the Spokesman-Review was prepared to start running Randy Cohen's "The Ethicist" column on Saturday, says editor Steven A. Smith.. "But, jeepers, turns out Cohen gave money to MoveOn.org in 2004." The paper says it would be hypocritical to run an ethics column by a journalist who's in violation of its own ethics policy.
