Longtime Romenesko readers will remember the memos that the "White-Haired Flack" wrote to NYT execs during the Howell Raines brouhaha. The Flack is back -- now writing as "Jack Flack" -- and giving advice to Rupert Murdoch. He says the mogul should tell Paul Gigot to put out the most compelling editorial page, not one best known for its ideological predictability. "Surprise people. Sign Norm Pearlstine, Howell Raines, Andrew Sullivan, and Al Gore as regular columnists," says Flack.
