reported Saturday that real-estate investment and development firm Patriot Equities has agreed to buy the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News headquarters. But
Brian Tierney, the newspapers' CEO, says negotiations are just beginning. "Until a deal's a deal, it's not a deal," he tells the Daily News. "We're not negotiating with anyone else, and we're not soliciting any other offers, but there's no definitive agreement."
