The Record's market research manager says many people believe the Hackensack, NJ-based paper is liberal and that "your opinion pages are sneaking over into your news articles." Publisher Stephen Borg says "it will be tempting for some to discount this conclusion, but the research is sound." He's asked editor Frank Scandale to learn more about perceived bias and come up with ways to address it.
