Howard Kurtz: Did those who decided to stay at the Post have faith in the future stability and financial success of the paper, or were there some other reasons? He responds: "I'm an ink-in-the-veins newspaper guy, I believe in newspapers and in the Washington Post. That doesn't mean that those who took the offer don't believe in the paper. ... I don't blame anyone for accepting a very generous offer that may not come around again. I just made a different call for myself."
